From immersive theater and cabaret to contemporary dance and experimental storytelling, the 2026 Denver Fringe Festival is set to transform Denver into a citywide stage this June. Now entering its seventh year, the festival continues to grow as one of the most exciting arts events in Denver, and this year it is backed by a major presenting partnership with the RiNo Art District.
Taking place June 3–7, 2026, the Denver Fringe Festival will feature more than 80 live performances across creative venues throughout the city, including several within Denver’s vibrant RiNo neighborhood.

What Is the Denver Fringe Festival?
Part of a global network of fringe festivals, the Denver Fringe Festival celebrates independent performance art and gives artists the freedom to experiment, take risks, and push creative boundaries. Audiences can expect a mix of theater, dance, comedy, immersive experiences, storytelling, puppetry, cabaret, and more.
Unlike traditional theater festivals, Fringe performances often happen in unconventional spaces such as breweries, galleries, studios, and community venues. This creates a uniquely interactive and accessible experience for attendees.
In 2026, Denver Fringe will once again bring together local creatives alongside performers from around the country for five days of performances and free pop-up events designed to make live arts more accessible across Denver.
RiNo Art District Joins as Presenting Partner
This year’s festival is receiving major support from the RiNo Art District, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting artists, creative businesses, and cultural programming throughout the neighborhood.
The partnership aligns closely with RiNo Art District’s mission to invest in arts-driven experiences that bring vibrancy and diversity to Denver communities. Support includes funding, marketing assistance, venue space, and community activation efforts throughout the district.
“Denver Fringe has such an important place in the RiNo Art District,” said RAD Executive Director Daisy Fodness-McGowan. “Everyone looks forward to this festival with good reason because they bring so much vibrancy to our district and city.”
Denver Fringe Executive Director Ann Sabbah emphasized the festival’s commitment to creative freedom and inclusivity:
“What makes Fringe so exciting is that artists are taking risks, audiences are stepping into the unknown, and together we’re creating this spontaneous, inclusive experience where anything can happen.”
