Many Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) organizations also offer recurring free days throughout the year, giving you even more opportunities to explore Denver’s museums, gardens, cultural attractions, and outdoor spaces for free.

Forney Museum of Transportation - SCFD Free Day

Explore more than 800 transportation artifacts, including historic locomotives, automobiles, motorcycles, aircraft, bicycles, and more. Highlights include the Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive, Amelia Earhart's Kissel, and a collection of vintage motorcycles.

Queermunity Dinner: A HalloQween Feature

Join Lighthouse Writers Workshop for a community dinner featuring pop-up performances, communal games, and a HalloQween celebration hosted by local drag queen Alice Glamoure. Costumes are encouraged, and dinner is available on a sliding-scale donation basis.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science – SCFD Free Day: OUT! at the Museum

Denver Art Museum – Free Day

Motus Playback Theater presents an evening of live, interactive storytelling where Erie residents can share personal stories about family, migration, memories, and finding a sense of home. Stories are brought to life through improvisational theater, music, and movement.
