1. Clean Gutters and Downspouts:

• Remove leaves and debris to prevent clogs and water damage.

2. Inspect and Clean Chimney:

3. Check Heating System:

• Schedule a furnace inspection and replace filters.

4. Seal Windows and Doors:

• Use weatherstripping or caulk to seal drafts.

5. Test Detectors:

• Replace batteries in smoke and CO detectors and test them.

6. Prepare Plumbing:

• Disconnect hoses and shut off outdoor faucets.

7. Lawn Care:

• Aerate, fertilize, and overseed your lawn, properly shut off sprinkler systems.
